I would have to agree with you that the iphone is sort of trash, in relation to the reliability factor. The showcase of the product in san fran looked poor as well. Hey there Krista,

An interesting review you have of the droid here. I myself am a member of the Mac Cult and love my iPhone.

With iPhone 4 launching this summer (June or July) and it being unlocked on any network will that make make you rethink your decision or no?

Also, if you absolutely won’t get an iPhone then check out a phone called the Nexus One. Google makes it and it absolutely stomps the iPhone 3GS.

Hi Krista: Appreciate your review as I’ve been looking a getting with tech more. My daughter LOL when she sees me using the “old” tech. My cell phone works and does the job of what a phone does, eh? The Droid intrigues me and your post helps a lot, especially the comparison demo’s. Thanks Krista.

Hey Krista…I am one of those in “the mac cult.” You know there is a reason for this that non mac users will never understand. Anyhow…I am always up for learning about new technologies and you are not the first one I have heard about that loves their “droid.” Maybe you can start a new “droid cult.”

I bought the Android HTC Evo 4G last week. It’s not on the market until mid-June, but I got in on the pre-launch. BestBuy said it should be in today…I hope I get my call! (-:
I’m dumping my BlackBerry your right it’s OK for the e-mails, but not for the browser.

Hey Krista, Thanks for sharing this. I was debating about the iphone, blackberry, etc. Now I find this! Hmmmm What to do?
I am going to be traveling a lot so I want to keep up to date without lugging my mac around.

Thank you Krista! Just about everyone I know has an iPhone, and its refreshing to know there’s something else out there to choose from that is just as good of a selection. The only thing that could make cell phones better is not having to be locked in to a particular carrier in order to have a phone (AT&T for the iPhone as an example). I’ve been shopping for a new phone, and your post is the first real review I’ve come across to really explain the new Droid phone is really like Christine
